2 mg once weekly, subcutaneous.
Build up to
Increase by 2 mg every 4 weeks, up to a maximum of 12 mg once weekly if well tolerated.
Run for
6–12 months of continuous weekly dosing in long-term metabolic research.
Time off after
4–6 weeks washout before starting a new cycle.

Route & timing: Subcutaneous injection to abdomen, thigh or upper arm, same day each week. Maintain at least 4 weeks at each dose before escalation to assess tolerability.
